Last.fm Trends: Miley Cyrus’ Tribute To Grunge



Miley Cyrus apparently has grunge roots, and 92.3 has the video to prove it. Covering Nirvana on the opening night of her tour, the starlet gave her own spin to “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.

The song’s older than Miley herself, but how do the two acts compare among Last.fm listeners? Last.fm Trends is looking at the scrobbles of the two acts to find out.,

Miley’s gained 21,888,303 plays from 908,704 listeners overall, although it’s unclear how many of these listeners would like to proclaim themselves fans: one of her top tags is guilty pleasure. “Party In The U.S.A.” is her top track, with 2,222,543 scrobbles from 296,703 listeners overall, and is way out on top of her six-month chart.
