Queens special ed teacher pleads guilty to statuatory rape for videotaped sex with boy 15 year old teen

A female Queens special-ed teacher pleaded guilty to statutory rape Tuesday for bedding a 15-year-old boy, prosecutors say.

Christine Williams, 42, faces 90 days in jail for two sexual encounters at her Rochdale Village home with the teen, who was a high-school freshman and family friend. Her sentencing has been set for July 12.

The boy gave cops videos of the 2010 liaisons with Williams, a source said.

Williams taught fifth grade at Public School 80, the Thurgood Marshall Magnet School in Jamaica.

As part of her plea deal, she will have to surrender her teacher's license and register with the state as a convicted sex offender.

Williams has been suspended without pay since her April 2010 arrest, and school officials are working towards having her fired.

"As a teacher and an adult, the defendant was in a position to know better," said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. "Children should be able to remain children."
