Lady Gaga Judas Music Video

Lady Gaga revealed her highly anticipated video for “Judas” Thursday. Although it was originally due to premiere during E! News in prime time, not on American Idol as previously reported, the video got leaked to the Internet earlier in the day.

The video’s concept keeps a theme true to the song: Christ and betrayal. According to MTV News, Gaga, who calls the video a "a motorcycle Fellini film," that exemplifies "a betrayal of a prophecy fulfilled," stars as the controversial Bible figure Mary Magdelene, who rides on the back of a motorcycle lead by Christ. Lady Gaga wanted to depict a “modern day Jerusalem.” Gaga then proceeds to try to warn modern day Jesus, in cornrows and golden crown, of betrayal.

Lady Gaga and her creative director and choreographer Laurieann Gibson directed the video. The singer, 25, said, according to The L.A. Times filming and directing the video was "the most exciting artistic moment of my career. It's the greatest work we've done."
